About

I have been a sports bettor for over 10 years that is from the UK (English but living in Edinburgh). Since 2016, well over half of my focus has been on football during which time I have made over £100,000. This is largely down to my predictive team ratings although I still have a plenty to learn and aspects where they can be improved! The direction of this blog has the potential to change but for now I plan on writing analytical articles often related to predictive team ratings. I think some of it is from fairly unique angles and reveals some independent ideas.

Syzygy (pronounced a bit like synergy “siz-uh-gee”) is word I know from Astronomy and means an alignment of 3 celestial bodies. It’s just an unusual word I like and relates to my (astro) Physics interest (and degree).

If you want to contact me about anything x.com/samh112358 or syzygyanalytics.bsky.social both work.
